"I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company, which I feel compelled to share. I returned a pair of shoes over three months ago, which the company confirmed they received.
However, despite multiple checks with PayPal and direct communications with the company, I have yet to receive my refund. Both entities claim that a refund was processed, but my account tells a different story.
It's disheartening to see that not only am I out of pocket for the cost of the shoes, but the shoes themselves are no longer in my possession. Buyers should exercise caution when dealing with this company, as their practices have proven to be questionable in my experience."

I recently had the unfortunate experience of shopping on Saks.com, and I must say, it was one of the most deceitful and disappointing online shopping experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, Saks.com's lack of transparency and deceptive practices left me feeling utterly frustrated and cheated.
First and foremost, their gift card policy is nothing short of a scam.
Upon making a purchase, I received a gift card labeled as "free" in my order confirmation. However, when I attempted to return items associated with the order, I was shocked to discover that the value of the gift card would be revoked. This crucial information was nowhere to be found during the checkout process or in the order confirmation. This deceptive practice is nothing short of a bait-and-switch tactic, designed to mislead customers and force them into keeping items they may no longer want or need.
Adding insult to injury, Saks.com's customer service was completely unhelpful and unresponsive when I attempted to address this issue.
Despite providing evidence of their misleading labeling and requesting a refund for the full amount, their response was dismissive and unsatisfactory. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Saks.com, as they are more than willing to deceive and cheat their customers out of their hard-earned money.
In addition to their deceptive gift card policy, Saks.com's pricing practices are also questionable. Items are often labeled as on sale or discounted, only for the actual price to be much higher at checkout. This misleading pricing strategy is deceptive and dishonest, further highlighting Saks.com's lack of integrity.
Overall, my experience with Saks.com was extremely negative, and I would strongly advise against shopping on their website.
Their deceptive practices and lack of transparency make them a company not worthy of trust or patronage. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

I purchased a Saint Laurent Bag on December 19, 2023 the bag was delivered on December 22 however it was a Christmas Present so I wanted to open it with the family on December 25. After opening the box I realized the bag was not what I thought it was it was entirely to small and I didn't like fabric so I went online and started the return process.
Customer Service sent a return label and I returned the bag on December 27. I received an email from Saks customer service that they received the bag on January 2, 2024. I kept contacting customer service to see when the return will be processed so I can get another bag. On January 20, 2024 I received a box no letter no explanation no nothing just the bag thrown in the box.
I called Customer Service the next day on Monday only to find out that Saint Laurent rejected the return because they said it was a scratch on the bag. How does a $1500.00 bag get a scratch on it. I had the bag for two days they had it for two weeks. If that was the case I would have returned it due to a scratch on it.
I don't understand and although I bought the bag from Saks because Saint Laurent rejected the return Saks Customer Service stated there was nothing they could do. Basically I am out of $1500.00 because I do not want the bag and I cannot return it or replace it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SAKS THAT YOU MIGHT RETURN. I know they do not care about their consumers but if there is enough complaints something will have to be done.
They are robbing customers that have been loyal and who shop in their store. I wish it was something else I can do about this.
If anyone reading this has any ideas please please let me know. Christmas ruined.

This is one of the case numbers that customer service opened up. I've spoken to the team leaders managers, everybody possible, my item was to return back in November of 2023 I have confirmation and you have confirmation that it was received yet no one can help me get my refund back it seems like I was scammed by saks 5th Avenue.
Customer services is No help Cannot find anyone anyone that I speak with keeps giving me the exact same answer. They're going to put a case number in and get it escalated I've tried. Numerous times to get in contact with somebody higher than customer service and have not been able to to get any response from anyone. No one is willing to help me.
I can assure you.
I will make this public as much as I can. That I was scammed out of my $700 by saks 5th Avenue.
And how much customer service is no help. I've been getting the run around for months.

Despite the passage of time since the chat interaction, I have not received this item. This is especially concerning given that I opted and paid for expedited deliver.
Status Quo: Unresolved
As of now, the item I ordered has still not been received.
On July 17th, I placed a call to customer service and provided a screenshot of another item that I had purchased from different store. This screenshot served as proof of delivery for that particular item. Remarkably, this item was also not received as it had been delivered to a residential address (please refer to the attached image), rather than to a hotel from desk. This image presented irrefutable evidence of delivery from the other store.
Notably, this item was delivered on July 7th also to a residential address. Interestingly, the bottom box in the picture carried the logo of Saks Fifth Avenue, clearly visible. Time of delivery was exactly the same (1pm for the item from another store).
At this point, I have not received the item. Placed a call July 17 with a screen shot of another item purchased from a different store and there was proof of delivery.
Did not receive this item as well despite information given it was delivered - also delivered July 7 as with the item from Saks. Item was delivered to a house (there was proof of delivery picture required for this store. I then received a response from Saks within less than 24 hours, asserting that due to store policies, they were unable to grant me a refund. I find it perplexing that this investigation was concluded so rapidly.
Could Saks provide clarification on the specific policy involved.
Circumstances in this situation is exceptional. As a customer I am deeply disappointed by this experience, as the non-delivery of the item for which expedited delivery was paid creates a substantial inconvenience.
Saks should consider the severity of this matter and its impact on my experience as a valued customer. I implore that Saks that immediate action to investigate the whereabouts of the undelivered site and provide me with a resolution that addresses this issue. I believe that the intervention will not only restore my faith in Saks but also uphold the high standard of service that I have come to expect.

I'm a long standing customer of yours and until now have always been a satisfied client. However, I have an issue with the above order that I wanted to bring to your attention.
I had this order directed to my neighbor as I work full time and she doesn't. After two attempts were made at her home, I decided to take off from work today so that I could be home for this package. I ordered two dresses that I very much wanted and didn't want to risk them being sent back to you due to inability to deliver. I don't get paid when I don't work!!!
I made sure to be home and for some reason, again the attempted delivery was made to my neighbor. Unfortunately, I didn't see the truck when it came. I specifically called Saks early Friday to have the package delivered to my home instead of hers, (Case# 0896****). Today, Upon calling customer service and being on hold for an excessive and inexcusable amount of time (45 minutes), I was routed to Damien who claimed to be a supervisor.
His ID# 185765, I was told that there's nothing that can be done. He indicated that he did see that a request was sent to FedEx at noon on Friday, but for some reason this message never got to them. When I put in the request with you, I wasn't told that it's possible that FedEx won't receive the notification to deliver the merchandise to my home. Had I been told, I would have just made other arrangements and not missed a full day of pay.
As a single mother, it's a huge deal for me to miss work and pay. I'm thoroughly disappointed in your lack of customer service! When I inquired with Damien as to whether there could be some sort of compensation being that I've missed a full day of pay to be home, I was told that this isn't possible. Furthermore, to have been inconvenienced by waiting 45 minutes to speak with someone regarding the above issue is unacceptable for a supposed quality chain such as yours.
Please review the conversation that will verify all of the above. I have requested that the merchandise be sent back to you for a full refund. I was also told by Damien that I would have to wait until the items come back to you in order for you to issue a refund. This I feel is poor customer service as well.
Why on earth do I have to wait for you to receive the items back in order to get a refund when I've not even gotten these items? I will no longer be a customer of yours as I am thoroughly disappointed with your lack of customer service, compensation and accountability.

My order never arrived. Day after day it was marked "delivery attempted" by FedEx but no one ever came despite 5 conversations with FedEx and no return calls with additional information received.
After reaching my wits end, I called Saks to request a refund. I was told that after the distribution center received the items a refund can be issued. So, even though I never received the item, I have to wait for someone else to get it sent back to receive a refund. Furthermore I was told both items were now sold out and I could not repurchase.
I was shown no empathy, just told to wait "approximately 14 business days" for a refund to be issued.
No offer to expedite the process was made. A simple "sorry about your luck" would've gone over much better.

I PLACED THE ORDER ON 11/29/23. THE ITEMS CAME RUSTY AND USED. I SENT THE IMAGES IN AND WAS TOLD BY (SHANISE) SUPERVISOR OFFERD 20% OFF 10-15 DAYS MAX. I CAN NOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MANY CALLS I MADE AFTER THAT SPENDING HOURS ON THE PHIONE WITH VERY INCOMPITENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
ON 12/13/2023 I SPOKE TO JOSE (CUSTOMER SERVICE) WHO REFUSED A REP ID NUMBER TO GIVE ME, YET TOLD ME HE WAS IN San Diego California,. JOSE COULD SEE THE REQUEST FOR THE 20% AND ALSO COULD SEE ALL TH CALLS AND FRUSTRATION I WENT THROUGH AND IMAGES. JOSE OFFERED TO GIVE ME A FULL REFUND 100% AND NO NEED TO RETURN THE ITEMS. ( BE REMINDED IT IS NOW 4 DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS) SAKS RUINED MY CHRISTMAS.
JOSE STATED I SHOULD HAVE THE CREDIT RETURNED NO LATER THAN 12/21/23. TODAY 12/21/23 THERE IS NO*** CREDIT OF THE AMOUNT NOT EVEN THE 20% THAT WAS OVER TWO WEEKS AGO. Disappointment!!! Words cant even come close to how I felt with my first and going to my last time purchasing anything from SaksFifthAvenue.
I went to this location in hopes of finding a well know designer shoe. I had a very particular style in mind that brand. I spoke with the representative that advise me. She only had a size 9.5 for said particular shoe I wanted I advised due to me being in close proximity, I would still come in to try the shoe.
All in all, I knew if worse came to worse I could order with one of their representatives off their website. Of course I ended up having to place that order which approximately totaled to $1700, with an associate right before their closing time on August 15th, 2023. I was advised the shoe would arrive on Monday , August 21st but in fact I received an update it would come on Friday August 18th. I received my shoes , inspected it, of course and saw that the product I was sent was a worn shoe.
The amount of money I spent on this particular product , and for it to come and be a used
and not a brand new shoe was disrespectful to me as a person.
I see Saks Fifth Avenue at 1 American Dream wy Suite F140 , East Rutherford, NJ 07073 doesnt seem to value their customers. I even went to the store the next day August 19th spoke with a manager and had no solution to resolving the problem, besides refunding me my money.

If your order generated a gift card why would it not be revoked if you returned part of your order? It was “free” in the sense you met an order dollar threshold.
It is not yours to keep unconditionally. If your return made the order fall below the threshold, you lose the card.
