Trying to return a defective item I ordered online. Have waited on hold for 30 minutes or longer on several occasions and then get a customer service person in the Phillipines who appears to be reading from a manual and barely understands English and is NOT helpful at all.
They are telling me they can't give me a refund because they have to email the distribution center (?!) who will decide. They also can't email me a return label but rather have me on hold while they are calling FedEx to schedule a pickup. It's just awful and will be my last order from Saks.com.
I may put a call in to corporate to share this feedback - I have no idea who at Saks would have agreed to outsource customer service overseas. It's insane.
